What we collect
Your email address, password (handled by our sign-in provider — we never store it in game data), display name and language. Game activity: your Disaster Squad, transfers, Captain/Vice choices, Triple Disaster use, predictions, season pick, scores, badges and league memberships.
How we use it
Only to run the game: sign-in, saving teams and predictions, scoring, leaderboards, private leagues and in-app notifications. No advertising, no tracking, no selling of data.
Who can see it
Other players see your display name, team name, scores and rank on leaderboards and in leagues you join. Your email is never shown to other players. Private league rankings are visible to members only.
Phone alerts
Only if you tap "Enable phone alerts" in the mobile app, we store a device push token to send deadline and result reminders. You can turn alerts off in your phone settings.
Services we use
Our hosting and database/sign-in provider stores account and game data. Football match data (fixtures, lineups, events, statistics) comes from a third-party football data provider; no personal data is sent to it. Push alerts use Apple/Google push services.
Account deletion
You can delete your account anytime in Profile → Settings → Delete Account, or by emailing support@fanfail.me. We delete your sign-in identity, email, profile details, current team, notifications and alert tokens. Published results needed for fair leaderboards and league history are kept but anonymized as "Deleted User". Leagues you own pass to the longest-standing member, or close if empty.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to game data is restricted per account on the server.
